designer Olivier Rousteing, in his second season with the fashion house, sent out a myriad of casual looks for Fall/Winter. boxy tops and jackets, velvet pants and blue/green quilted leather jackets were paired with muted metallics, whites and gray separates. the designer has kept the Balmain vibe but taken the house in a (slightly) more realistic direction, as bold embellished tops were worn over simple button up tops, and wide tops were paired with simple, slim pants.

Ann Demeulemeester dramatically presented a dark, sinister yet playful collection for Fall/Winter 12, accessorized best by the razor sharp, spiked hair seen on the models making their way down the runway. leather was abundant, jackets were worn tight and wrapped and upper arms were exposed above elbow high leather gloves. the deep blue was amazing and will be much sought after come fall.
