Spring Color Inspiration ::

In Spring/Summer 12, Style on February 13, 2012 at 7:33 AM

I am a huge fan of lipstick (Matte Red, specifically). it can often make or break a look. personally, i am an even bigger fan of lip balm. the complete line of Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters consists of 20 colors that are a hybrid lipstick/balm. color and moisture? and Emma Stone as the spokes model? yes please!

Revlon gave me the opportunity to test out some of their best colors and I couldn’t have been more excited (nor could my friends, who all test drove them this past weekend). i am not typically a beauty blogger, so i thought I’d give you all an early taste of Spring style by showcasing the best spring looks from the spring/summer 12 designer collections and my choice for their Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter companion.

how would you pair them?

Eddie Bauer Style

In Fashion, Friends, Style on December 9, 2011 at 9:08 AM

Last week i joined Khara from Ice Creem Dreem (and the lovely Rose) at the Eddie Bauer styling event at the brands newest location at the South Shore Plaza. to my surprise i found piece after piece of wearable/covetable items, including an amazing Pendleton Jacket and the perfect Chambray button-up.

the history of the brand is rich (EB was the first to patent the down jacket, and outfitted the first Americans to summit Mt. Everest) and the direction of the brand is focusing on that history to bring in a sense of depth and heritage to draw in new customers and keep past customers comfortable.

Nickelson Wooster

In Fashion, Inspiration, menswear, Style on August 18, 2011 at 12:12 PM

when I think of Nickelson images are conjured up of grey hair, a heavy mustache, tattoo sleeves and one amazing calf. tell me the last fatherly-aged, grey haired, mustached man you were this attracted to?

a daper gentleman, Wooster is both masculine and elegant at the same time. a poise and style all his own, street style photographers are never disappointed by Nick’s exposure to his tatted up arms, buttoned up collars or ever changing specs. craving more Nickelson? check out this interview with the “street style demi-god” on GQ and his inspiring Tumblr here.

no, that is not Rachel Zoe in her Resort look book, although it may be her model doppleganger.

cool-girl gypsy is what Zoe does best- from styling her high-impact clients to styling herself, and apparently, in designing her own collection. Maxi everything, wide flare denim and vibrant full-bodied colors and prints prove Zoe is not a one hit wonder when it comes to designing for others, and really, who is surprised?
